SHOZU PROVIDES EASY MOBILE PHOTO UPLOADS
FOR ADOBE® PHOTOSHOP®.COM MEMBERS

24 September 2008

ShoZu Inc. announced today that Adobe® Photoshop®.com members can use its mobile social media service to quickly and easily upload photos from more than 350 different handsets to Photoshop.com accounts. ShoZu’s service allows Adobe Photoshop.com users to take advantage of support for additional handsets that include Apple® iPhone™, Apple® iPod touch, Motorola RAZR2, a range of phones including Nokia 5310 and Nokia 6301, and BlackBerry® Pearl™.

“The big challenge of taking photos with your mobile phone is transferring them to the Web. We have simplified the process for more than 50 destinations, and Photoshop.com is an important addition,” said ShoZu CEO Mark Bole. “Photoshop.com offers a combination of photo storage and backup, online photo editing, interactive photo galleries, creative inspiration, and value-added tutorials for Adobe software users that gives it broad appeal for anyone who takes photos of any kind – whether with a camera phone or digital camera.”

ShoZu Mobile Media Service
With the ShoZu application downloaded to the handset free of charge, Photoshop.com users can transfer full-resolution photos with accompanying titles and descriptions from the phone to their Photoshop.com account with a few clicks. There is no need to open a mobile browser; interrupt phone calls, text messaging or camera use while images are transferring; or start over in the event of a dropped connection.

In addition, ShoZu users can simultaneously upload any given image to any number of Web destinations – ranging from Photoshop.com, Facebook, Google Blogger and WordPress to multiple email addresses – without leaving the ShoZu application. This not only eliminates the need for multiple uploads but also eliminates multiple data charges from the wireless provider where applicable.

“The proliferation of camera phones has made capturing moments and memories more spontaneous,” said Geoff Baum, Director of Photoshop.com at Adobe. “Until now, there weren’t many options for uploading, storing, editing and sharing photos from mobile phones. We’re excited to provide a complete solution to Photoshop.com users through the recent Photoshop.com Mobile beta introduction. Now, with the addition of ShoZu, we are extending mobile support for Photoshop.com to a wide range of additional camera phones.”
