Develop and share your business idea

We would like to learn about your business plan and consider it for early venture capital funding. Please contact us to submit your business plan. It is always useful to have a mutual acquaintance connect us. Before you send your business plan please also read about our investment criteria.

Writing a business plan

Executive summaries are usually a 2-page document and your business plan does not have to be too long. We like plans or presentations that present the necessary information in as few words as possible. The following format, with 15-20 pages or slides should work well:

  • Company background and purpose
  • Team (previous experience)
  • Problem (customer pain and how it is addressed today)
  • Solution (value proposition of your product or service)
  • Competitive advantage & technology IPR (what are the company’s USPs)
  • Market (needs to be reasonably big for VCs to be interested, why is the market ready?)
  • Competition (who are they and what is your advantage)
  • Route to market (how are you planning to reach the targeted customers)
  • Financials and business model
  • Proposed investment round (the deal offered)
  • Return – Exit options (who could be interested in buying the company)

Are you ready?

Not all technology start-ups are ready for venture investment or offer the risk / reward profile investors are looking for. Sometimes the development of the technology is still in proof of concept stage, the market is too small and funding from other sources is more appropriate.

In the UK, entrepreneurs can tap into a vast network of regional funds, government-related grants and angel associations.

"TTP Ventures' independent minded, thoughtful approach and project experience means they support the right ideas and genuinely stimulate new businesses, not just follow popular trends."
